[4] Holding the Camera
To take sharp pictures, hold the camera firmly so that it
does not move.
• Hold the camera with both hands.
• Keep your elbows close to your body.
• Hold the camera against your nose and look through the
viewfinder

• Be careful to keep hair and
fingers from blocking the
lens, AF light emitter/
receptor, light metering
window, and flash.
• Be careful not to press the
flash all the way into the
camera. This will turn the
power off.
• Dirt or foreign substances on the AF light
emitter/receptor make it harder to focus. Be sure to
keep the front of the camera clean.
