[7] Zoom Operation
You can use the zoom buttons to change the size of
the image.
(•ni Wide-angle (23mm)
Press for a wide area
image. For taking
landscapes, group pictures,
etc.

[^J Telephoto (69mm)
Press to zoom in on your
subject For taking portraits,
etc.
Press the zoom buttons.
• Press [• *] to zoom to the
telephoto end, and (¡13 to zoom
to the wide-angle end
• When the power is turned on, the lens first sets to the
wide-angle (23mm) position,
• If the lens remains extended for approx. 4 minutes
without use, the lens automatically retracts into the
camera and is set to the wide-angle (23mm) position.
This prevents damage to the lens
