Editing Procedure
Locate a point slightly ahead of editing start point on video
cassette in camera.
• EDIT button is functioned only in stop mode.
Place second VTR in record pause mode.
Press camera PLAY button.
• Check playback picture on TV screen.
Release second VTR from record pause mode at editing
start point.
• Recording begins on second VTR.

Press STOP buttons on camera and second VTR to end
editing.
Remote Terminai
This terminal is provided to connect this camera to commercially available
video camera recorders, video decks, or editing machines in order to
perform functions such as assembly editing. The operation buttons of other
manufacturers’ equipment may differ from those on this camera. Refer to
the other product’s instrution manual for details.
EDIT Button
EDIT
To minimize loss of picture quality, press EDIT button only when camera is
used as playback VTR during editing.
• “EDIT” should not be displayed normally.
Note:
• Both image and sound quality of edited tape will be somewhat less than that of the original.
