Blinking “om” Display
There are two conditions when the biink-
ing “ «czi” will appear in the LCD panel.
1. If the battery is neariy exhausted, the
blinking “czi” will appear when the
shutter button is pressed haifway or
when the battery is checked.
2. If the remaining battery power does not
show a replacement condition, but the
camera’s seif-test process detects an
internai malfunction, the biinking “ ”
will appear when the shutter button is
pressed halfway.*
* In this case, remove the battery once.
Wipe the battery terminals and reload
it. Check the battery again. If the blink
ing “ ca ” stili appears, the camera
needs to be examined by an autho
rized Canon service faciiity.
