C Manual Fading

Automatic fading serves for shooting at a given time and speed. When

shooting for different lengths of time is desired, operate by hand.

FADE-OUT

Unlock

the

variable

shutter

control

lock

by

sliding

the

fading

sening

button to the right to make the fading setting indicator turn blue.

Pull the trigger and turn the variable shutter control ring while looking at

the shutter angle indicator on the right side of the viewfinder.

FADE-IN

Unlock

the

variable

shutter

control

lock

by

sliding

the

fading

setting

button to the right to make the fading setting indicator turn blue.

Set

the

variable

shutter

control

ring

to

"C"

beforehand.

Pull

the

trigger and turn it to "O" for fade-in shooting.

When the variable shutter control ring is set at "O", the red in the

indicator window inside the viewfinder will gradually disappear.

If you keep pulling the trigger, ordinary EE shooting is possible without

interruption.
