Load the Battery

Press the knob for opening the back cover in
the direction of the arrow and open the back
cover.
2 Pull the battery chamber cover towards you.

Insert the battery according to the diagram
shown inside the back cover. Check to insure
that the poles are in their correct positions.
4 Replace the battery chamber cover.

• Since cold weather (below —10 C or 14 F)
affects batteries, hold the camera close to your
body until just before using it to keep it warm.
