# Be sure to remove the Canolite ED or other

flash unit and extender, when not performing
flash photography. If the flash remains attached

on the camera, the exposure of AE photography
will be incorrect.

# Electronic flash units of other makes can be

used as long as they have direct contact accessory

shoes and a guide number of 14(m). Be sure to
set the switch at the manual position.

# When taking flash pictures with a pocket-size

camera, light is often reflected off the retinas of
fair-complectioned people so that they appear to
have red pupils in photos. To avoid this phe­

nomenon, attach the Canon Speedlite Extender
between the camera and the flash.
