H] Shooting in Auto Mode
The shutter button has a two-step action.
The first step sets the focus and exposure, while the
second step takes the picture.
In this mode, the AiAF function 20) ensures that
the subject stays in focus even when it is not exactly in
the center of the viewfinder. The flash also fires
automatically in low-light conditions.

Set the focus.
• Position the AF frame over
the subject and press the
shutter button halfway.
•♦The green indicator lights
when the subject is in
focus
• Keep the shutter button
pressed halfway down.
Compose the shot and
take the picture.
• Press the shutter button
down fully.
• Press the shutter button
slowly and gently
