Slow-Synchro Function
The slow-synchro function is effective when taking
pictures of people in evening or night views when the
background is dark. The slower shutter speed allows
distant backgrounds not illuminated by the flash to be
included in the photograph.
The self-timer operates automatically with the slow-
synchro function in low-light conditions.

Because a slow shutter speed (up to 1/4 seconds) is
used in this mode, always use a tripod to prevent
camera shake. Take care also to ensure that the

subject does not move immediately after the flash fires.
