Loading the Batteries

The camera will not work without batteries.

Use two new size-AA 1.5V batteries of the
same brand. Alkaline-manganese (LR6) bat

teries are recommended. Carbon-zinc bat
teries can also be used but their life is shorter.

DO NOT use Ni-Cd batteries.

Wipe the battery terminals with a clean,

dry cloth to ensure proper contact

2 Slide the battery chamber cover @ in the

direction of the arrow.

Insert the batteries so that their terminals

are in the directions indicated by the diagram
inside the battery chamber.

4 Slide the cover in the direction of the arrow

and push it down.
