4 Water, spray, excessive humidity and sand
are your camera's worst enemies. Clean it
especially well immediately after you use it at
the beach.

The battery does not work well at very
low temperatures (below 0°C, 32°F). If you
plan to shoot in cold conditions, keep the
camera warm until just before you shoot. It is
a good idea to carry spare batteries; keep
them warm also until they are needed.

Replace the batteries every year even if
they are not used since they will discharge
gradually.
