The exposure is set at the same time as the
camera focuses the subject. The shutter can not
be released until focusing is-achieved.
When a subject taken with the One-shot
autofocus continues to move, the movement of
the subject is predicted and the AI Servo
autofocus automatically adjusts.
This allows you to focus continuously on a
moving subject. The exposure is set immediately
before the shutter is released.

When the shutter is held down, one frame per
second will be taken continuously.
This sets a suitable exposure for shots where
there is a large difference between the light level
of the subject and that of the background.
This ensures correct exposure of the area within
the partial metering circle in the viewfinder.
