Self-Timer
When
you
are
ready
to
photograph,
turn
the
self-timer
lever
counter-clockwise,
as
illustra
ted, until it can be turned no further. This can
be
done
before
or
after
cocking
the
shutter.
The
timing
device
will
start
operating
as
soon
as
the shutter button is pressed.
. . and the
shutter
will
be
actuated
approximately
10
seconds later.

• Once you have cocked the self-timer, it cannot be released unless
the shutter button is pressed.
• When using the self-timer, it is advisable to use Canon Cable
Release, Canon Camera Holder L, and tripod.
