Insert vinyl steam seal (S) in slot of
header. Slide steam seal toward center
of header.
Measure from wall to wall at top of
opening and cut header (C) to that
measurement.
If necessary, file ends of header to fit
rounded contour of your unit. Header
should fit flush against top of unit.

Place header in position at top of unit
with long leg of header toward inside of
shower (vinyl steam seal facing outside
of shower).
Tape header in place with masking
tape to hold while positioning jambs.
5 Header

Reposition jambs on wall with bottoms
resting on sill and tops fitting inside
header.
Secure jambs to wall using 8A x 1" pan
head screws.
