Section IV: Glazing Preparation
STEP #2 PREPARE FRAME FOR GLAZING
A. Seal the frame joints at the SSG vertical and captured horizontal intersections. Seal
the 1/4” joint at the glazing pocket. The joint must be sealed from the top all the
way around to the bottom of the glazing pocket, completely filling the joint void.
B. Tool off excess sealant from exposed areas and in areas that would interfere with
installing the horizontal pressure cover.
