Selecting the permanent display function
You can determine whether the multifunction
display permanently shows your speed or the
outside temperature.
X Press the = or ; button on the
steering wheel to select the Settings Settings
menu.
X Press the : or 9 button to select the
Instrument Cluster Instrument Cluster submenu.
X
Press a to confirm.
X Press the : or 9 button to select the
Permanent Display: Permanent Display: function.
You will see the selected setting Outside Outside
Temperature Temperature or Additional Additional
Speedometer [km/h] Speedometer [km/h] / Additional Additional
Speedometer [mph] Speedometer [mph] .
X Press the a button to save the setting.
Lights
Switching the daytime running lamps on/
off
Daytime running lamps are required by law
(Canada only). You cannot set the "daytime
running lamps" function via the on-board
computer.
X Press the = or ; button on the
steering wheel to select the Sett. Sett. menu.
X
Press the : or 9 button to select the
Lights Lights submenu.
X
Press a to confirm.
X Press the : or 9 button to select the
Day Lights Day Lights function.
If the Day Lights Day Lights function has been
switched on, the cone of light and the
W symbol in the multifunction display
are shown in orange.
X Press the a button to save the setting.

Setting the brightness of the display/
switch

Press the = or ; button on the
steering wheel to select the Sett. Sett. menu.

Press the : or 9 button to select the
Lights Lights submenu.
X Press a to confirm.

Press the : or 9 button to select the
Brightness Display/Switches: Brightness Display/Switches:
function.
You will see the selected setting.
X Press a to confirm.
X
Press the : or 9 button to adjust the
brightness to any level from Level 1 Level 1 to
Level 5 Level 5 (bright).

Press the a or % button to save the
setting.
Switching Adaptive Highbeam Assist on/
off
X
Press the = or ; button on the
steering wheel to select the Sett. Sett. menu.
X
Press the : or 9 button to select the
Lights Lights submenu.
X Press a to confirm.

Press the : or 9 button to select the
Adapt. Highbeam Adapt. Highbeam function.
If the Adapt. Adapt. Highbeam Highbeam function has been
switched on, the cone of light and the
_ symbol in the multifunction display
are shown in orange.
X Press the a button to save the setting.
