Spare wheel

The ML 320 BlueTEC does not have a spare
wheel.
i Canada only:
The ML 320 BlueTEC does not have a spare
wheel. ML 320 BlueTEC vehicles that are
factory equipped with 20'' wheels come
with TIREFIT.
The spare wheel is located in the space
underneath the cargo compartment floor.
X Removing: Open the tailgate ( Y page 90).
X Lift the cargo compartment floor
(
Y page 299).
! To prevent damage, always disengage the
securing hook from upper cargo
compartment lip and lower the cargo
compartment floor before closing the
tailgate.
X Remove the storage well casing (if so
equipped) (
Y page 300).

X Remove retaining screw 1 by turning it
counterclockwise.
X Remove spare wheel 2 .

Storing the spare wheel after use
X Place the spare wheel into the spare wheel
well (
Y page 302).
X Secure the spare wheel by turning the
retaining screw (
Y page 302) clockwise.
X Place the storage well casing into the spare
wheel (
Y page 300) (if so equipped).

Notes
Warning and malfunction messages appear in
the multifunction display located in the
instrument cluster.
Certain warning and malfunction messages
are accompanied by an audible signal.
Address these messages accordingly and
follow the additional instructions given in this
Operator’s Manual.
Selecting the
Vehicle status message
memory menu in the control system
( Y page 151) displays both cleared and
uncleared messages.
High-priority messages appear in the
multifunction display in red color.
Certain messages of high priority cannot be
cleared from the multifunction display using
the reset button (
Y page 138) or button
j , k , · or è on the
multifunction steering wheel.
Other messages of high priority and
messages of less immediate priority can be
cleared from the multifunction display using
the reset button (
Y page 138) or button
