Ethernet Configuration

Changing the IP address Using Windows 7

1.

From the Windows Start menu click to select Control Panel.

2.

Click to select Network and Internet.

3.

Click to select Network and Sharing Center.

4.

Click on Change adaptor settings.

5.

Right-click on the active local area connection and select
Properties from the menu.

6.

The Local Area Connection Properties window opens. Click to
select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4).

7.

Click the Properties button.

8.

The Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) Properties window
opens.

a) Make a note of any current configuration settings displayed,

so that they can be restored when required.

b) Click to select the Use the following IP address option.

c) Enter 198.9.200.99 (or an address appropriate for the device

or system) into the IP address field.

d) Press the Tab key to automatically populate the Subnet mask

field.

9.

Click Ok to save the changes and exit the window.

10.

Click Ok again to exit the Local Area Connection Properties
window.
