E.1.3 Displays

PROBLEM:
CRT display is misaligned, twisted, or tilted.
RECOMMENDED ACTIONS:
Have CRT mounting adjusted by Service.


PROBLEM:
Extraneous marks on CRT display – extra lines, overlapping numbers.
RECOMMENDED ACTIONS:
Turn the power off and back on; this will clear the display.


PROBLEM:
An LED segment/display is not functioning.
RECOMMENDED ACTIONS:
Have unit repaired.


E.1.4 ECG


PROBLEM:
ECG waveform baseline is drifting on screen.
RECOMMENDED ACTIONS:
Change ECG Bandwidth from Extended to Monitor in Advanced Configuration menu.
Check connections:

ECG trunk cable at Atlas Monitor socket.

ECG leads at trunk cable.

ECG leads at electrodes.

Check for proper placement of electrodes on patient.
Check for good contact of electrodes to patient – shave, clean if necessary.
Minimize patient motion.
