close it. The unit will make the disc changing noises for a few moments and then it should operate normally.

Check the batteries are inserted correctly.

If the surfaces ore dirty

For a cleaner, crisper sound

To clean this unit, wipe witii a soft, dry cloth.

If the surfaces are extremely dirty, use a soft cloth dipped in a soap-

and-water solution or a weak detergent solution.

Clean the heads regularly to assure good quality playback and record­
ing.

Use a cleaning tape (not included).

• Never use alcohol, paint thinner or benzine to clean this unit.

• Before using a chemically treated cloth, carefully read the instruc­

tions that came witii the cloth.
