SmartCD Manager is an innovative solution for managing collections of CDs. It uses a unique single drive
letter system. It takes advantage of Microsoft’s Windows NT 4.0 operating system and allows you to use the

CD Changer just like a CD-ROM drive.

SmartCD Manager is comprised of two parts: The SmartCD Manager and the SmartCD Audio Plaver.

The SmartCD Audio Player provides an attractive, straight forward medium for listening to your audio CDs.

How to use them is explained in the Windows 95 section.
Refer to pages 23 to 26 for more details about the SmartCD Manager & SmartCD Audio Player.

You can use another medium called “CD Player”, originally provided within Windows NT 4.0, to play your

audio CDs. We recommend using “CD Player” with Five Drive Letter (Drive Letter Per Slot) configuration,

because more than one CD-ROM drive must be installed to change to another CD.

To start Microsoft’s Windows NT CD Player

Select “Start’^“Programs’^“Accessories’^“Multimedia’^“CD Player”.

The CD Player Display appears.
