The unit edits a phone number into one of 4 patterns by pressing (F§
(EDIT
key).
Editing the Caller’s Phone Number

Press (SEARCH) (v or
a
) once to enter
the list.
Press [SEARCH) (v or
a
) repeatedly to
search for the desired caller.
Press (F^
(
no
. key) to display the
caller’s phone number.
Press
(EDIT
key) to select an edit
pattern.
Each time you press (F^
(
edit
key), the
phone number is rearranged into a
different edit pattern. There are
4 patterns to choose from.
—The underlined part of the area code
will flash. You can change the area
code by pressing the correct number
using the dialing buttons.
Once the edit procedure is completed,
continue with storing or call back
procedure steps.
To call back, press (H] (
dial
key)
(p. 26).
To store information in the directory,
press (PROGRAM), then follow the
instructions on the display (p. 28).
