Move closer and try again.

Static, sound cuts in/out,

fades. Interference from

other electrical units.

—Set the handset and the base unit

away from other electrical appliances.

—Move closer to the base unit.

—Extend the base unit antenna.
—Press (CHl to change the channel.

The handset does not ring.

—The ringer volume is set to OFF. Press

IVOLUME/RINGER] and select HIGH or

LOW using [Fl] or (F2]. You cannot

select it during a call with the handset.

The base unit does not ring.

—The RINGER selector is set to OFF.

Set to HIGH or LOW.

The handset display is

blank.

—The handset is in the battery saver

mode (p. 11

).

Press one of the function

keys to turn the display on.

The handset display is still
