Installation brackets and center support brackets are attached to extension
brackets with the included screws and nuts.






CEILING MOUNTS:

For ceiling mounts, ensure that a 1-3/4” high, flat vertical surface is available for

securing the installation brackets. The brackets will be normally be screwed in
place through the top holes, but see optional attachments below.

MARK THE BRACKET POSITIONS:
ƒ

Mark where the ends of the headrail will be positioned. Either…

ƒ

Hold headrail up and mark or measure headrail and mark length.

ƒ

Then mark ¼” from the headrail marks for the installation brackets.

ATTACH THE BRACKETS:
ƒ

For normal ceiling mounts, screw through the top holes.

ƒ

If brackets sides are also flat to wall, screw through top & side holes.

ƒ

If brackets backs are flat to wall, screw through top & back holes.


STEP 2: INSTALLING THE BLIND


With the installation brackets in place, the headrail may be mounted –
BUT, FIRST...



LET THE VALANCE SAFETY STRAPS HANG OUT IN FRONT OF THE HEADRAIL:
ƒ

There are 2 valance safety straps located at each end of the headrail

o

There is 1 safety strap in the center of the headrail for blinds under 36” wide.

ƒ

The valance safety straps are pre-looped and secured to the metal tilt rod.

ƒ

Let the safety clips at the end of the straps hand out in front of the headrail.

ƒ

These clips will attach to the valance as an added safety feature in STEP 4.

Let the valance safety
straps hang out in front of
the headrail at each end.
