2 Changing the speed limit

Switching on

Press the button.

The current speed is accepted as the speed
limit.
If the system is switched on while the vehicle is
stationary, is set as the speed limit.
The marking in the speedometer is set to the
respective speed.
When the speed limit is switched on, DSC Dy‐
namic Stability Control is switched on as well, if
necessary and switches to COMFORT mode if
applicable.

Switching off

Press the button.

The system also switches off if, for example:

Reverse gear is engaged.

The engine is switched off.

Cruise control is switched on.

The displays go out.

Changing the speed limit

Press the rocker switch up or down repeatedly
until the desired speed limit is set.

Each time the rocker switch is pressed to the
point of resistance, the desired speed in‐
creases or decreases by approx. .

Each time the rocker switch is pressed past
the point of resistance, the speed limit in‐
creases or decreases by 10 in the km/h
speedometer.

If the speed limit is set during a trip to a value
below the current speed, the vehicle coasts until
its speed drops below the set speed limit.

Exceeding the speed limit

The speed limit can be exceeded intentionally.
There is no acoustic warning in this case.
To intentionally exceed the set speed limit,
press the accelerator all the way down.
When the vehicle speed drops below the set
speed limit, the limit is automatically reactivated.

Warning

Visual warning

If the set speed limit is exceeded, the in‐
dicator lamp in the instrument cluster
flashes while the vehicle speed is

greater than the speed limit.

Acoustic warning

If the speed limit is exceeded unintention‐
ally, a signal sounds after approx. 5 seconds.
