Note

Ensure that you connect the TX and RX ports on one end of the patch cord to the RX and TX ports (respectively) on
the other end. Connect TX to RX and RX to TX.

Step 1

Place the GBIC cables, RJ-45 cables, or SFP cables through the NPE-G1 or NPE-G2 optical cable-management brackets.

Step 2

Place any cables from port adatpers, auxiliary and console ports, through the cable mangement brackets and secure.
