Selecting the Size of Movie Clips on the

Memory Card

Movies are recorded on the memory card
using the Motion-JPEG compression. The
sound for these movie clips is monaural.

Capturing a Still Image while Recording

Movies

While you are recording a movie on the
tape you can simultaneously capture the
same picture as a still image on the
memory card without interrupting your
recording to change modes. The size of
the still image will be S 640x480 and
cannot be changed but the quality of the
still image can be selected.

POINTS TO CHECK

Select the size and quality of the still
image in record pause mode before you
start recording.



indicates the approximate number of images
that can be recorded with the current quality/
size setting.
