IMPORTANT!
These battery spacers must be removed from the unit before use. If you do
not remove the spacer from the remote, the remote will not operate. If you
do not remove the spacer from the battery compartment in the CD door, the
clock, timer, and preset memories will be lost when the power is
disconnected.
To remove the battery spacers and activate the batteries, proceed as follows:
Remote Control:
Slide the battery compartment door in the direction of the arrow to open it. Lift out
the battery and remove the spacer beneath the battery. Re-insert the battery with
the “+” side facing up, and replace the battery compartment door.
