ALT. CH (Alternate Channel) Button
Press to return to the TV channel you were viewing immediately
before switching to your current channei.
CHANNEL Up/Down Buttons ----------------------
Press to scan through theTV/VCR’s channels.
VOLUME Up/Down Buttons ------------------------------------------------
Press to adjust the sound level. If you press the VOLUME
Up/Down buttons when the sound is muted, the sound will be
restored.
MUTE Button ---------------------------------------------------------------------
Press to eliminate theTV/VCR*s sound. Press again to return to
the previous volume level.
F.FWD/+ Button
When in Stop mode, press to fast forward the tape at high speed.
During tape playback, press to fest forward while the picture stays
on-screen. Details are on page 46.
Press to change a setting of a pop up menu item.
Press to adjust the picture controls. Detoi/s ore on pages 24 - 25.
STOP/T Button ---------------------------------------
Press to stop tape playback or recording.
Press to selea an item in the pop up menu.
PAUSE/STILL Button -------------------------------
In Record mode, press to temporarily stop the recording (pause).
Press again to resume recording. Detoi/s are on page 29. You cannot
pause a One Touch Recording diat is set for a specific length of
time.
During tape playback, press to freeze the picture (still). Each time
you press the PAUSE/STILL button, the noise lines will change
position on-screen. Details are on page 46.
MEMORY Button----------------------------------------------------------------------
Press to memorize a tape position at which the real time counter
was set to 0:00:00. Details are on page 44. Or, press to memorize
the start and end position on a tape when setting up A-B Repeat
Playback. Details are on pages 42 - 43.
CLEAR Button '
Press to erase incorrect data when programmingTV/VCR func­
tions. Also, press to reset the real time counter. Details are on page
44.
TRACKING (Up/Down) Buttons ------------------------
Press during tape playback to adjust die tracking.
