Slide the POWER switch to the right to turn the
Camcorder on.
Set the CAMERA/VCR selector switch to
"CAMERA".
Insert a video cassette with the erasure
prevention tab intact.
• After a few seconds, the Camcorder will be in
the recording pause mode.
Set the recording speed selector to “SP” or
"LP".
Set the operation selector switch to “AUTO”.
The settings made in this way are indicated in
the LCD as follows:

SHUTTER

0 Place the Camcorder in the shooting position.
• Grasp the handgrip.
• Adjust the length of the grip belt.
• Attach the lens cap to the grip belt.
^ Press the recording start/stop button.
• The recording starts.
0 Press the recording start/stop button again to
stop the recording temporarily. (Recording pause
mode)
