4.9.4 Time setting: Press the setting knob vertically on the control panel→make the number flash on the
TIME →rotate the setting knob to set the speed 10m30s.
4.9.5 Setting of speedup and speedown (Start the machine and make the rotor run to the set speed, stop the
settiing of speedup and speedown of machine, the value is 0~9. The bigger the value is, the shorter the time
need): press the setting knob vertically on the control panel →make the numbers on the right of speedup
flashing →Here is setting of speedup, rotate the setting key to 5→ re-press setting key → make the
numbers flashing on the right of speedown → here is setting for speedown, rotate the setting key to 6.
After setting, it will display as following figure:

4.9.6 Setting RCF: press down the setting knob vertically on the control panel→make the number flashing at
the place of RCF and there is dot display behind the number → rotate the setting knob and set the value.
4.9.7 During the process of setting parameters, if there is alarm caused by machine fault or incorrect setting
on the parameters, press the
stop key to canceal the alarm.
4.9.8 Press the start key, the machine will begin to run ( if you need stop it halfway, please press
stop key ), time setting will reduce from set value to zero, when it shows zero, the centrifuge will stop
working. And at this time, the speed will reduce from set value to zero (the time for speed reduce from set
value to zero has nothing to do with the setting of speeddown ) when the speed is zero, the door cover will
open automatically and the machine will buzz for 5 times, please press the
stop key to stop the buzz
and centrifugal process is completed.
4.9.9 If you need short time centrifugal, please press start key
for long time, and the speed will
increase gradually. It will stop when you release and the maximum speed is the setting speed of the rotor.
4.9.10 You can reset the parameters about speed/centrifugal force, time, speedup and speedown etc. After
the speed of the machine is stable. After setting, no need to press any key to confirm. It will be confirmed
automatically after flashing of the system for 3 times.
Note:
● Install the rotor on the shaft correctly before setting parameters on the control panel.
● You can reset the parameters if the operation of parameters-setting is wrong.
4.9.11 About calculation of the centrifugal force
Relative centrifugal force is usually thousands of times of gravity (g). It's unit items to measure the
efficiency of variety of instrument separation or precipitation. The calculation of centrifugal force has
something to do with centrifugal speed and centrifugal radius. It's based on the following equation:
RCF = 11.18 × (n/1000) ² × r
R: is the centrifugal radius, unit is cm;
n: centrifugal speed unit is rpm (revolutions per minute)
Note: The value of maximum centrifugal force has something to do with the maximum centrifugal radius.
The setting of value of centrifugal force consider the radius of the rotor and the shape of centrifugal container.
4.9.12 Test for disequilibrium
If the rotor runs unbalanced in the process of operation, the spindle will overran the allotted range, and the
machine will stop to run and make an alarm. Usually it's because of unbalanced load. After stopping running
of the device, open the door cover and solve the problem and then restart again.
