Using the Stud Installation Tool P/N 08-0431
1-Push the studs into the holes in the track by
hand until the tip protrudes and there is enough
tension to hold the stud in place while you
position the Stud Installation Tool P/N 08-0431.
2-Position the Stud Installation Tool over the stud
so that the borehole of the tool is over the tip of
the stud and the round platform is under the head
of the stud (underside of track).
3-Using both hands, spread the handles of the
tool apart until the head of the stud is pushed flush
with the underside of the track. Rotate the track to
a new area and repeat the procedure until all of
the studs have been pushed into place.
4-Install the stud plate and nut onto each stud,
and tighten each nut down according to the
stud manufacturer’s specifications.
