Repair

Repair this model using CA (cyanocrylate adhesive) glue

or clear tape. Line and knot fraying can be decreased

by applying a small amount of CA to the end of the line.

We do not recommend applying CA to fittings or stays

on the boat, but applying CA to knots will keep them

from loosening. When parts are not repairable, see the

Replacement Parts List for ordering by item number.
For a listing of all replacement and optional parts,

refer to the list at the back of this manual.

Checklists

Before Boating

• Install fully charged batteries in your boat

and transmitter

• Connect the boat’s battery to the receiver
• Make sure the boat is bound to the transmitter

(otherwise bind the boat to the transmitter using

the transmitter manufacturer's instructions)

• Make sure linkages move freely on the boat
• Perform a Control Direction Test with the transmitter
• Adjust steering rate on your transmitter as desired
• Find a safe and open sailing area
• Plan a safe boating route for the water

and wind conditions

After Boating

• Always loosen control line stays a small amount

so that drying lines do not damage the boat

• Always power off the receiver before powering

off the transmitter to maintain control of the

boat and receiver and transmitter binding

• Disconnect the battery from the receiver

and remove the batteries from the boat

• Fully dry the inside and outside of the boat
• Repair any damage or wear to the boat,

especially the control lines and sails

• Make note of lessons learned from the trimming

of your boat, including water and wind conditions
