INTRODUCTION
The SL-2001 is a unique MIDI instrument which combines powerful master key-
board functions with versatile MIDI processing features. Its operating system has
been carefully designed for fast and efficient musical control of any MIDI system,
from small home studios to professional stage setups.
The SL-2001 is like any musical instrument; the more time invested, the greater
the rewards. Once the basic principles of operation are mastered, the many pow-
erful functions are easily accessible. It is not necessary to read and understand
every detail of the
SL-2001 operation guide, but please take the time to scan all of the sections to
gain awareness of the unit’s full potential.
Sections 1 through 4 contain essential information and should be read carefully.
Sections 5 through 8 are reference sections which detail all of the powerful func-
tions available, and may be studied as required.

PREIMPOSTAZIONE - ATTIVAZIONE CAMBIO
Se i Presets di SL-2001 devono essere impostati mediante i comandi di cambio programma MIDI, è necessario indicare la fonte
di tali comandi.
Il cursore di controllo csl 1 è utilizzato per attivare i cambiamenti di Preset di SL-2001. Il cursore csl 3 è utilizzato per sele-
zionare il dispositivo da cui SL-2001 accetta i comandi di cambio programma. I cambiamenti di programma da tutti i disposi-
tivi di input verranno accettati selezionando All sul cursore csl 3.
La funzione cambio Preset condizionata consente di ritardare il cambio di Preset di SL-2001 nelle seguenti condizioni: 1) vi
sono note che sono attualmente premute sulla tastiera; 2) il pedale di sostegno è attualmente premuto; 3) una o piùzone uti-
lizza la funzione Delay e vi sono note o altri eventi che non sono ancora apparsi sull’output di zona.
La funzione cambio Preset riguarda i switches di Preset del pannello anteriore come pure un comando cambio-Preset da qual-
siasi fonte (MIDI IN da A a D, Inc/Dec). Durante il tempo in cui il cambio di Preset è ritardato, le cifre di Preset lampeggie-
ranno sino al raggiungimento delle condizioni. Se si desidera, è possibile forzare il cambio programma condizionale median-
te la funzione Tutte le note disattivate (premere i switches Edit e Store contemporaneamente). Se il cambio Preset attende
eventi della zona ritardata, la disattivazione della zona forzerà il cambio Preset.
