Glass Frame Removal

Glass Cleaning

Replacement of Ceramic Hearth Panels

1. Remove glass.
2. Remove two (2) hex nuts securing grate to hearth

pan. (Fig. 49)

3. Set left and right panels on hearth and bring towards

front of unit.

4. Replace grate assembly.

It is necessary to clean the glass periodically. During
start-up condensation, which is normal, forms on the
inside of the glass and causes lint, dust and other
airborne particles to cling to the glass surface. Also
initial paint curing may deposit a slight film on the glass.
It is therefore recommended the glass be cleaned

two or three times with a non-ammonia household
cleaner and warm water (gas fireplace glass cleaner
is recommended). After initial use glass should be
cleaned two or three times during heating season.

Clean glass after first two weeks of
operation.
Do not clean glass when hot.
Do not use abrasive cleaners.
Do not strike or slam the glass.
