All-Wheel Drive

If your vahide has a(l-ift/heel drive, your engina'g driving
power is sent lo all four whaols tgr extra traction
when needed.

Thrs is like four-wheel drive, but thare is no separate

lever or switch to engage or disengage the Iront axle, It
is fully aulomatic, and adjusts itself as needed for
road conditions.

Vou may experience a brid vehicle vibration upon

acceleration when driving in slippery conditions. This is

normal and is an indicatkon that ttie all-Wiheel drive
systom is functionIr^g properly.

Parking Brake

To set The pariong brake, hold the regular brake pedal
down with your right foot, push down the parKing
brake pedal with your left foot.

ft Lhe ignition is on. Ihe brake system warning light will

corne on.

To release the parking brake, hold the regular brake
pedal down. Pull the handle, located just above
thg parking brake pedal, marked

BRAKE RELEASE

to

release Ihe parkir^g brake*

II the ignition is on when Ihe parking brake is released,
the brake sysTern warning light wilt go off

Notice:

Driving with the parking brake an can

cause your rear brakes to overheal. You may have
to replace thenri. and you could also damage
olh&r parts of your vehicle. Always check to be sure
your parking brake Is fully released bclore you
drive.
