You can switch your he&diamps from high lo
low-beaim by pulling (he turn signal/high-boari lever
toward yoUh
A circuit breaker prelects your heatJlarrips. tf you have
an electrical overload, your hefidlamps will flicker on and
off. Have your headlamp winng checked right away it
Ihis happens.
Lamps On Reminder
A rerninder chime will eound when your control is lurned
to the headlamps or pariting (amps position, your key
is out d the ignition, and your driver's door is open. To
disable the chime, turn tho control to the Dayfime
Running Lamp [DFILJ position and then back to the
parking lamps or headlamps position.
Daytime Running Lamps
Daytime Running Lamps (ORL) can make it easier tor
others ÈÛ see the iront nf your vehicle during the
day, DRL can be helpiul in many différénl driving
cemditiong, but they can be especially helpful in ihe short
periods aiter dawn arrd before sunset. Fully tuncttonal
daytime running lamps are required on all vehicles
tirst sold in Canada.
The DHL system will come on when the following
condiiions ame met;
• the ignition is on,
• the exterior lamps controi in DHL mode and not in
the defeat posilion.
Whan the DRL are on. only your headlamps will be on.
The tailfamps. sfdemarker and other lamps won't be
on. The instrurrienl panel will be lit.
Whan you turn the headlamp switch off, the headlamps
wifi go off, and your DRL Samps will ilJuminate.
Turn the exterior lamp control lo ihe defeat positton or
shift Inlo PARK (P). The DRLs will stay off until the
conifol Is toggled again r>r tha vehicle is shifted out of
PARK {PL
