Transmission —

Consists of two separate trans­

missions, the Power Unit transmis­
sion and the Tine Attachment
transmission. Both transmissions
are encased in cast iron housings
and operate in separate baths of
gear oil. The housings are se­
curely connected by a locking col­
lar, a dowel pin, and two large

swing-bolts. By loosening the
swing-bolts, the Power Unit can be

disconnected from the Tine
Attachment and used as a separate
power source for optional powered

and non-powered PTO attachments.

Transmission Gear Oil —

Small Top-Offs: use SAE 140,

SAE 85W-140, or SAE 80W-90.
Must have an API rating of GL-4
or GL-5.

Full Replacement: use SAE

140 or SAE 85W-140 with an API

rating of GL-4 only.

Power Unit Gear Oil Capacity:

approximately 60 ounces. Impor­
tant- use the oil level check hole as
your final guide for gear oil level
correctness.

Tine Attachment Gear Oil

Capacity: approximately 12'/2
ounces, but use the transmission
dipstick as X\\e final guide.

Wheeis —

One-piece steel; 8" in diameter.

Tires —

4:80 X 8" bar tread tires.

Recommended air pressure is

lO-to-20 pounds/square inch.
