2.---- Pull cam lever back and down to lock grass
catcher on mower. This automatically opens
------rear discharge doors on mower.
To remove the grass catcher, unlock the cam lever
and lift off the grass catcher.

CONTROLS
THROTTLE CONTROL
The throttle is located on the left side of handle. It
controls engine speed. See figure 13.
To engage the blade, pull the side release lever
away from the unit. See figure 14. Pull the clutch
control handle against the upper handle. Release
side lever.
Release the clutch control handle to stop the
blade from turning.

BLADE BRAKE/CLUTCH CONTROL
WARNING
THIS CONTROL MECHANISM IS A
SAFETY DEVICE. NEVER ATTEMPT
TO BYPASS ITS OPERATIONS
The blade brake/clutch control is located on the
upper handle of the mower. The clutch handle
engages and disengages the blade.
NOTE
If the engine should stall when the
blade is engaged, move the throttle
control lever to a faster engine
speed.
