Setting up the units

Place the units horizontally as the illustration above.

When placing them vertically, refer to the illustration as follows.

• Do not place the stereo cassette deck on the CD player. The

top window of the CD player may be damaged.

• Make sure that the stereo cassette deck is placed on the left

side of the stereo receiver.

It may generate some noises or may prevent the stereo system

from proper functioning if the stereo cassette deck is placed on
the right side of or on the stereo receiver, or if the stereo receiver

is placed on the stereo cassette deck.

IMPORTANT

Connect the speakers, antennas, and all optional equipment first.
Then connect the AC cord in the end.

Before connecting the AC cord

The rated voltage of your unit shown on the rear panel of the
stereo receiver is 120 V AC. Check that the rated voltage matches
your local voltage.

Speakers

The speaker placed on the right side of the unit facing you is

“the right speaker” and the other one is “the left speaker”.

Connect the flat cables of DX-NM1000 © , FX-

NM1000

®

and GE-NM1000

to MX-NM1000.

Push the connector until it clicks.

Connect the speaker cords to the SX-NMT1000

front speakers.

Connect the cords with the white stripes to ® terminals and

the other cords to © terminals.

Connect the speaker cords to MX-NM1000.

Connect the cords with the white stripes to © terminals and

the other cords to 0 terminals.
