Camera Settings Sub-Tab

Brightness

Adjusts the brightness of the video footage.

Sharpness

Adjusts the sharpness of the video footage

Contrast

Adjusts the contrast of the video footage.

Hue

Adjusts the hue of the video footage.

Saturation U/ Saturation V

Adjusts the U and V color difference signals used in YUV color format for the video footage.

Note:

Not all cameras use a YUV color format, in which case, adjusting the Saturation

U slider will adjust the color saturation while the Saturation V slider will have no
effect.

Noise Reduction

Reduces video noise on grainy video images. Warning: If this value it is set too high it may have
detrimental effects.

Recording Mode Sub-Tab

The Recording Mode Sub Tab allows for the Recording Speed of the Camera and the Recording Mode to be configured.  There are four
Recording Mode options encompassing a full range of recording possibilities. These modes are accessible by selecting the appropriate
option from the Recording Mode drop-down menu.

Speeds...

Opens the Recording Speed window. The recording speed can be
set individually for Constant, Motion and Alarm Recording
Mode
. Use the drop-down menu to select the desired number of
frames per second (fps). 

Note:

Network cameras will often record and play back

at a slower rate than what was set in the Recording
Speed
window, depending on the bandwidth and cam-
era.
