2.4 Hardware Configuration
The serial communication card is Plug and Play compliant; the card re-
quests memory usage (I/O port locations) from the system BIOS. The ad-
dress assignment is done on a board-by-board basis for all serial com-
munication cards in the system.
The jumper JP1 for the serial communication card is used for the system to
recognize the first or second card of the same model in the system if there
are two cards of the same on board.
