REPLACEMENT PARTS
13. Perform steps 1 through 6.
14. Place fine grade sandpaper (600 grit) on flat surface. Sand ro-
tor lightly in “figure 8” motion four times (see Figure 19).
15. Reinstall insert and rotor.
16. Perform steps 10 through 12.

1.
Unplug heater.
2.
Remove side cover screws (4) using 5/16" nut-driver to ex-
pose ignition control assembly.
3.
Remove fuse cover (see Figure 20).
4.
Remove fuse from fuse clips (see Figure 20).
5. Replace with new fuse (DESA Heating Products part number
105880-02). Do not substitute a fuse with a higher current rat-
ing. Use Bussmann GMA-10 or equivalent.
6.
Replace fuse cover (see Figure 20).
7.
Replace side cover (see Figures 10, page 8).

original replacement part(s), call DESA Heating Products’ Techni-
cal Service Dept. at 1-866-672-6040.
When calling DESA Heating Products, have ready:
• your name
• your address
• model and serial numbers of your heater
• how heater was malfunctioning
• purchase date
Usually, we will ask you to return the part to the factory.

Contact authorized dealers of this product. If they can’t supply original
replacement part(s), call DESA Heating Products at 1-866-672-6040
for referral information. Parts dealers are listed in the Authorized
Service Center booklet supplied with heater.
