If An Airflow Alert Activates
The most common causes of an Airflow Alert are:
• Blockage of the inlet grilles or exhaust outlet.
• Removal of the work surface or grille during operation.
Resetting the Airflow Alert System
The Airflow Alert automatically resets to normal operation once the motor
speed has stabilized.
Battery Backup Alarm on EN 12469-Compliant
Models (3440830, 3440831)
NOTE: The battery backup alarm was switched off at the time of
manufacture to preserve the alarm battery. The alarm must be armed before
using the cabinet.
To activate the battery backup alarm:
1. Plug the Logic into the appropriate
electrical power.
2. Locate the battery backup alarm
switch located on the top of
electronics module as shown.
3. Slide the Alarm Switch to the “ON”
position.
4. The alarm is now armed.

Testing the replace battery function:
1. With the unit running, slide the battery backup alarm switch to the
“Off” position. The LCD message center should now say “Replace
Battery.” If this does not occur, contact Labconco for technical
assistance.
2. Turn the alarm switch back to the “ON” position.
