GAS SYSTEM REMOVAL
Remove the seal ring*, gas piston, spacer tube, pusher assembly, gas system return
spring, and forearm retainer from the magazine tube (Figure 10). Note the orientation
of the seal ring* for reassembly. The angled surface of the seal ring* must face outward.

ACTION REMOVAL/DISASSEMBLY
1. Pull the operating handle straight out of the bolt (Figure 11).
2. Remove the bolt and slide assemblies from the receiver through the barrel hole.
3. Remove the bolt from the slide.
4. Push the link pin out with a blunt object no larger than 1/8" diameter.
5. Remove the link.
