CalMAN Setup Guide

Install the most recent WD TV Live firmware.
For use with CalMAN version 5.2.3 or later, the DPG-2000 requires the firmware
available on the SpectraCal DPG-2000 forum page.
Note: If you don’t yet have access to the DPG-2000 forum page, email
to request this access privilege to be added to your forum
login.

Install the current CalMAN Device Driver Kit.
If you have not downloaded and installed version 2.2 of the CalMAN Device Driver Kit
(required for IR Controller support), download it now from
(or
on the Downloads page at www.spectracal.com). Run the file to install the Device
Driver Kit on your system.

Install the CalMAN IR Controller Driver.
Plug the IR Controller into a USB port on your system. Windows 7 should auto-install
the device driver. Older versions of Windows will pop up a Found New Hardware
Wizard. At the prompt "What do you want the Wizard to do," select the option "Install
from a list or specific location." Use the Browse button to locate the directory where
you installed the Device Driver Kit. The default driver file locations are:
32-bit PC - C:\Program Files\SpectraCal\Drivers\USB-UIRT.
64-bit PC - C:\Program Files (x86)\SpectraCal\Drivers\USB-UIRT.
If the drivers do not auto-install, go to Start/Control Panel, select System, then select
Device Manager on the left hand side of the System Properties window. Find your
device in the list. Your device should be listed with a yellow exclamation point on its
icon. Right click on the device and select Update Driver Software. Select Search My
Computer For Driver Software, then follow the directions for installing the driver, as
listed above.
