ASSEMBLE GUIDES, ATTACH TO TRACKS
Install a washer (WB002 on each 3/4" bolt (HB020). Install a bolt
thru both the hole and the center slot of each Angle Bracket (7280C).
Loosely fasten an Angle Bracket to the smooth side of each Guide
(7280E) by screwing two bolts into the threaded holes in the Guide.
Install a washer (WB002) on both Ratchet Handles (5863, 1-1/8" stud),
insert the stud thru the remaining slot in the Angle Bracket and the hole
in each Guide, then start an oval nut (5760B - smooth side first) on the
end of each stud. See fig. 3.
The Angle Bracket will partially overhang the Guide and the over-
hang will face in towards the band saw table.
Position and slide the Guides on to the 24" Double Tracks. The
rib of the Guide and the oval nut will fit into the T-slot of the track.
Position the Guides on the tracks an equal distance from the end of each
track and tighten the Ratchet Handles. See fig. 3.
ATTACH ULTRA TRACK FENCE
& SQUARE VERTICALLY
Insert a 1-1/4" bolt (HB040) thru the center hole in the vertical
face of each Angle Bracket. Install a 1/2" spacer (BUSH5050) and a
knob (5540) on the end of each bolt. Slide the 24" Ultra Track (4424)
onto the heads of the bolts and tighten the knobs. See fig. 4.
If desired, the Ultra Track fence can be adjusted for square verti-
cally. Slightly loosen the two knobs holding the Ultra Track fence to
the Angle Brackets. Insert a thumb screw (5505) in the top or bottom
threaded hole in the vertical leg of each Angle Bracket. Use the top hole
to push the top of the fence away from the Angle Bracket. Use the bot-
tom hole to push the bottom of the fence away from the Angle Bracket.
Adjust the thumb knobs to square the fence, retighten the knobs and
recheck the fence for square. See fig. 4.
