9. Edit the module parameters and/or tags
according to the user requirements.
10. Download the settings and monitor the input/
output data.
Note: The RSTC1100’s Operation Mode
Indicator should be green indicating the unit is
online and exchanging data successfully.
11. Open the online slave properties to view the
cyclic module data (Refer to Figure 8).
12. Using DPV1, access is available to all
data (Refer to Figure 9). See RSTC1100
Parameters section for complete list of data
available.
Changing Profi bus Node Address
The RSTC1100 is set with a default Profi bus node
address of 56, but can be changed based on the user
requirements. Use one of the following methods to
customize this setting:
RSTC Communications Software (See the
RSTC1100 user manual for further information)
1. Open RSTC Communications Software
and navigate to the Profi bus Port Setup
window.
2. Change the RSTC Device Address and
press Send to update the information in the
RSTC1100.
3. Disconnect RSTC Communications
Software and power cycle the RSTC1100.
4. Reconnect to Profi bus using the new node
address.
Profi bus
1. Connect to Profi bus using the default
node address 56 or the current address if
previously changed.
2. Write to index number 0 with the desired
node address.
3. Disconnect the Profi bus connection and
power cycle the RSTC1100.
4. Reconnect to Profi bus using the new node
address.
