11: Splice B Status integer, read only. Splice B values are 1 = true and 0 = false; reading this register provides the

RSTC1100’s current operating mode. Splice B will return a value of 1 for approximately one second after a Splice
B control input is given through a write to Index 12 or the Splice B analog input, otherwise a read will return 0.

13: Adaptation fl oating point, range is 0.0 to 100.0, read only. Adaptation can be used for diagnostic work.

14: Taper Tension Setpoint fl oating point, range is 0.0 to 10,000.0 lbs but is restricted by Minimum and Maximum

Tension Setpoint values, read only. Reads the calculated taper tension setpoint, which decreases as roll diameter
increases, calculation is always performed regardless of Taper Tension Enable. Taper Tension Setpoint is a
function of Taper Factor and a condition of Taper Delay.

Tuning

15: Taper Tension Enable integer, read and write. Taper Tension Enable has values of 0 for off and 1 for on. When

set to 1, web tension will decrease with increasing roll diameter as a function of Taper Factor and a condition of
Taper Delay, when set to 0, web tension remains at Tension Setpoint value.

16: Tension Setpoint fl oating point, read and write. The range is 0.0 to 10,000.0 lbs but restricted by Minimum and

Maximum Tension Setpoint values.

17: Taper fl oating point, read and write. Taper Factor has a range of 0.0 to 100.0. Taper Factor controls how much the

tension setpoint is decreased for an increase in roll diameter. Larger values of Taper Factor will increase the rate
of decrease and smaller values will decrease the rate of decrease. A value of 0 will result in no tension setpoint
decrease.

18: Taper Delay fl oating point, read and write, Taper Delay has a range of 0.0 to 100.0 inches.

19: Gain fl oating point, read and write. Gain has a range of 0.0 to 10.0.

20: Stabilization fl oating point, read and write. Stabilization has a range of 0.0 to 50.0.

21: Initial Adaptation fl oating point, read and write. Initial Adaptation has a range of 1.0 to 20.0.

22: Splice Adaptation fl oating point, read and write. Splice Adaptation has a range of 1.0 to 20.0.

23: Adaptation Rate fl oating point, read and write. Adaptation Rate has a range of 2.0 to 20.0.

24: Remote Tension Setpoint Enable

read and write. Remote Tension Setpoint Enable has values of 0 for

Off and 1 for On. Set to 1 for the Tension Setpoint value to be read from the Remote Tension Setpoint analog
input. Set to 0 for the Tension Setpoint value to be read from the network.

Setup

25: Tension Monitor Enable integer, read and write. Tension Output Enable has values of 0 for Off and 1 for On. Set

to 1 for actual tension to be available on Control Output B. Set to 0 for the controlling or standby outputs to be
available on Control Output B. Splice B control command and hardware input are ignored when Tension Output
Enable is set to 1.

26: Tension Alarm Tolerance integer, read and write. Tension Alarm Tolerance has a range of 0 to 100%.

27: Alarm Output Type integer, read and write. Alarm Output Type has values of 0 for Normally Open and 1 for

Normally Closed.
