Step 11:

Connect solar cell to circuit
board

Plug the connecting lead into the socket in
the solar panel.

On completing the installation, remove the
protective foil from the solar cell.

Period of illumination:
Dull days: up to 5 hours
Sunny days: over 9 hours

7.2 Affixing the house

number

Step 1:

Remove pull-off foil

Remove the pull-off foil from the protective
paper.

Step 2:

Affix the house number to
the pull-off foil

Affix the house numbers/letters (incl. the
protective paper) to the adhesive-coated
side of the pull-off foil.

- For 3-digit numbers, use the red
characters.
- For 2-digit numbers, use the blue
characters.

Pull off the protective paper from the
numbers/letters. These are also coated
with adhesive.

Step 3:

Affix pull-off foil to window

Affix the pull-off foil to the window with
uniform lateral and vertical spacings.

NOTE: Take care to ensure that the

pull-off foil lies flat and is evenly attached.

Press down the house numbers/letters on
to the window.

Step 4:

Remove the pull-off foil

Remove the foil carefully and slowly. The
house numbers and letters will now be
permanently affixed to the window.

7.3 Replacing/installing

the

battery

The house number light is powered by a
battery. It needs no additional power supply.

Step 1:

Separate the two parts of
the light

See Section 7.1

Step 2:

Remove the old battery

Remove the battery from the battery holder.

NOTE: Observe the disposal

instructions (Section 10).

Step 3:

Install new battery

IMPORTANT: Install battery [3] in the

battery holder [8], observing the correct
polarity.
